| RealityRipple | Jan 31 2012 11:31 PM Glad everyone's having a good experience with it. Web Scraping can be an annoyingly unreliable task. |
| frankie | Jan 31 2012 1:25 AM I have downloaded and installed the new version and it works like a charm. Thanks so much! |
| RealityRipple | Jan 28 2012 7:46 AM I have a work-in-progress test program that I need some users to run to make sure it works with multiple WildBlue distributors. Please contact me at wbATRealityRippleDOTcom if you're interested in helping. Thank you. |
| RealityRipple | Jan 22 2012 10:44 PM As mentioned below, WildBlue has changed something fundamental in their system. There's nothing I can do at the moment because I don't have a stable computer to work with right now. |
| Marilyn | Jan 22 2012 12:26 PM After installing and I press the set acct button, it reads XML read failed. How to fix??? |
| RealityRipple | Jan 20 2012 2:37 PM Oh, no. I'm off by over $30, it's just that ads or selling my RAM will cover that easily. |
| Wynter | Jan 20 2012 11:02 AM I meant if it was $10 dollars more to get you the hardware you need, then I don't mind donation that much |
| RealityRipple | Jan 20 2012 8:23 AM That's not how it works... $10 in ads is not $10 in donations. Donations are through PayPal, and I get them instantly, ads are accumulated by Google to $100 before payment. They're as different as apples and sirloin.
The simplest solution will be for someone to buy my RAM, which shouldn't take more than a week or two. |
| Wynter | Jan 20 2012 1:01 AM If it's just $10 dollars then I'll donate that much if that's what you need. It's ritual for me to monitor my usage. |
| RealityRipple | Jan 20 2012 12:58 AM I'm not sure yet. I haven't attempted to handle a secure HTTP connection through code yet, but it may still be possible. I'm going to have to do some digging around once I get a system to do so with. |
| Wynter | Jan 19 2012 9:31 PM *WildBlue changes |
| Wynter | Jan 19 2012 8:33 PM Would you be able to get the software working once your computer is up and running or has WilBlue change make it impossible? |
| RealityRipple | Jan 19 2012 6:52 PM WildBlue has changed something fundamental, and my computer is non-functional, so I can't do a thing. See the home page for details. |
| Wynter | Jan 18 2012 8:16 PM Meter worked fine this morning but now I get "xml failed" and when I try to close down the meter I get and error about a wrong path and the details:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

| Will | Jan 18 2012 7:20 PM Hi. I reinstalled the latest version, but I'm still having trouble. Thanks for your help! |
| RealityRipple | Dec 10 2011 9:08 AM Try removing the program through the uninstaller and downloading the latest version. |
| SusanN | Dec 9 2011 2:54 PM Wildblue bandwisth monitor has stopped working; cannot run or update. |
| Jerry O'Neill | Dec 6 2011 1:48 PM Is there an iPad app for this? |
| Jacob | Nov 1 2011 1:43 PM Thanks for this great program. I recently had a problem with error getting the xml file, but a uninstall and reinstall fixed this issue. |
| Ace5190 | Oct 25 2011 4:00 PM Thanks for this! The meter they provided just quit working last week, so this helps me a lot. :) You've won my gratitude over. :) |

| Lou6453 | Oct 22 2011 5:29 PM Fixed all the errors that showed
up on My Computer .
I'm a happy camper once again . Great Work !!!!!!!!! |
| Lou6453 | Oct 22 2011 5:19 PM Sorry when mouseover it says 1.04 But when installing it says 1.05 . Thanks alot for this Great Program . |
| Lou6453 | Oct 22 2011 5:13 PM I am trying to get
Version 1.05 but link still gives 1.04 . Please Help . |
| RealityRipple | Oct 20 2011 6:25 AM The exact issue is that they've moved the XML file to HTTPS through the standard HTTPS port rather than the usual port 8180. The jsp file that controls the flash-based Usage gadget which I read in my program still has port 8180 listed. I will attempt to write some failsafe checks to work around issues like this automatically in the next version. |
| RealityRipple | Oct 20 2011 6:16 AM I looked into it. It's WildBlue's problem, not mine. However, it did reveal a little glitch regarding HTTPS URLs. I will be updating again soon, but it will not solve the problem we're experiencing. Only WildBlue can do that. |
| Brian | Oct 19 2011 10:30 PM I checked my usage on their site and it shows their but still get a XML URL connection failed on the software. |
| Brian | Oct 19 2011 10:27 PM XML URL connection failed here too. |
| ALH | Oct 19 2011 7:35 PM I just went to Wildblue web site and their monitor won't work. So maybe not reality ripple problem |
| ALH | Oct 19 2011 7:14 PM Had worked fine until 2 days ago. As others have reported: Now It gets through the Reading Data URL fine. When it gets to the Reading XML it fails and says XML URL connection failed |

| Ty | Oct 18 2011 11:21 PM It gets through the Reading Data URL fine. When it gets to the Reading XML it fails and says XML URL connection failed.
Doesn't update after it fails. Tried re-installing with the same results |

| RealityRipple | Oct 18 2011 8:52 PM Please provide further details on the issues you are experiencing. |
| AndyS | Oct 18 2011 2:54 PM Just started getting "XML read failed" errors today. Any suggestions? Thanks for the tool. |
| matt | Oct 18 2011 12:53 PM Looks like this new version isnt working again. some or part of the file path cannot be found. Any idea when you can update this ?
thanks |
| RealityRipple | Oct 5 2011 2:24 AM Those are not alternatives to this product. This is a WildBlue usage limit monitor, not a hardware bandwidth meter. It does not measure your computer or local network activity in the least, it requests the same file the Flash-based app (which WildBlue provides) uses, and stores it for graphing purposes. |
| Neil | Oct 3 2011 9:26 PM Two free alternatives, Netmeter for Windows and NTM for Linux. google for Netmeter and see soureforge for NTM. |
| RealityRipple | Oct 3 2011 4:19 PM A linux version should be possible as it's written in .NET... I'll see about a MONO compile.
Wally: Are you using the latest version? |

| mike | Jun 18 2011 9:29 PM i corrected a mistake i made on the folder name for my manually created path to the needed history xml file that i created for it cause it was looking for it. so now it seems to be working fine! |
