Random BackGround

Automatic Wallpaper Slideshow with Advanced Features

Random BackGroundRandom BackGround is a Slideshow tool for Windows 95 and above with features to rival Windows 7.

With Random BackGround, you can select a folder of images to cycle through in a non-repeating, random set. A wide range of intervals, from 10 seconds to Never along with picture positioning of Fill, Fit, Stretch, Tile, and Center, let you make the most of your desktop. Added integration into Windows Explorer lets you set a specific background, and a simple tray icon gives you quick access to a new background and the settings dialog. An automatic update system is included in the About dialog for user convenience.
Multimonitor Support Multimonitor users will be pleased to have the option to have different backgrounds on each monitor, with each background resized individually for each screen, from one of five positionings.
Random BackGround currently supports BMP, DIB, JPG, and GIF image types, and functions on all 32-bit compatible Windows Operating Systems.

Please make sure to double-click the subfolder you want, so that the icon looks like an open folder.

When I open the settings, then it does not show me the subfolder I have selected last time, but the Folder obove it. Because I have several subfolders with wallpapers, so I do not see what was my last selection.
Proposal for a ver 1.2,3 :-)
In general I am happy with it.,
thanks you very much

Windows 7 has a Slideshow Wallpaper feature, making this application obsolete. The ability is built into the OS itself.

Will RB work on WIndows 7 ? Works great on Vista for me. Not sure I'll upgrade if it doesn't work with 7. Thanks

I guess this is going to be useless soon. It's likely 1.2.1 will be the final version.
